Lenovo Laptops Are Simply Awesome

Lenovo is one of the world’s leading personal technology companies, producing innovative PCs and mobile internet devices. Now, #286 on fortune 500 list, Lenovo is the world’s largest PC vendor and fourth largest smartphone company.

Whether a PC, smartphone, tablet, desktop or workstation, Lenovo makes the products that customers need, whether smart connected or infrastructure devices. Lenovo laptops are simply awesome! We have outlined some of Lenovo products focusing on laptops that you should consider when purchasing a laptop:

ThinkPad is a line of laptop computers and tablets designed, developed, and sold by Lenovo, and formerly IBM. ThinkPads are known for their minimalist, black, and boxy design which was initially modeled in 1990 by industrial designer Richard Sapper, based on the concept of a traditional Japanese Bento lunchbox revealing its nature only after being opened. According to later interviews with Sapper, he also characterized the simple ThinkPad form to be as elementary as a simple, black cigar box, and with similar proportions that offers a ‘surprise’ when opened.

ThinkPads are often referred to as business laptops. Lenovo’s business laptops have some of the best keyboards in the world and many have extremely long battery life. They’re a great choice, even if you’re not planning to use them for work.

For many business users and corporate IT departments, nothing but a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop will do. Whether it’s their strong build quality, industry-leading keyboards, hyper accurate pointing sticks, or simple black aesthetic, the ThinkPad line has a number of mainstays that Lenovo fans won’t do without.

Even if you’ve already got your heart and your budget committed to a ThinkPad, you’ve got a lot of choices. Lenovo currently sells over 20 ThinkPad models across 9 different lines. The laptops all have the same basic aesthetic, but vary greatly when it comes to size, price, screen quality, performance and battery life. Some even have snappier keyboards than others. So which ThinkPad is right for you? The answer depends on your priorities. Here’s a list:

The Ideapad range of Lenovo laptops is made up of everyday laptops for general use. Performance-wise, they’re not as beefy as the ThinkPads; Ideapads are your go-to for multimedia streaming, web-browsing and the like, as well as offering up a couple gaming alternatives.

Lenovo’s Yoga brand is all about 2-in-1 hybrids. They are intended for anyone who’s torn between buying a laptop or a tablet. A bit of both is a good thing, and we’ve seen plenty of great hybrids pass through our doors in recent months.

There’s only one thing to remember with Lenovo’s Yoga line. The bigger the number, the better the performer. Within each number series are yet more numbers and, again, the bigger they are the more powerful – and expensive – they will be.
