Apple has finally set a date for the launch of its new iPhone!
The new iPhone is scheduled to be unveiled to the world on October 13th, 2020, and will, as usual, be streamed live. Find out how to watch the event here.
Apple’s new iPhone is rumored to be called the iPhone 12 and is expected to have a 5G Wireless Connectivity with a “new iPad inspired design.”
According to Verge, Leaker Kang predicted that Apple would be releasing 4 models of iPhones; iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max ranging from $699 to $1099. The Super Retina XDR display seen in the iPhone 11 will also be available in these new releases.
iPhone 12 Mini will reportedly have a 5.4-inch display, storage capacity ranging from 64GB to 256GB, and its price starting from $699 while the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 with the same storage capacity as the Mini has its price starting from $799.
The price for the iPhone Pro with a 6.1-inch display and 128GB to 512GB storage will start at $999, according to Kang.
And finally, the 6.9 inch iPhone Pro Max has its price starting from $1,099 and will be available in Gold, Silver, Graphite, and Blue with 218GB to 512GB storage.

Even though it’s expected that Apple will release some additional products like the HomePod mini smart speaker (said to cost $99 as opposed to 2018’s version that cost $350 at its launch) or the Apple Silicon Macs, the highlight of the event will be the new iPhones.
We’ll have to wait and see what the company finally unveils on the 13th to see how spot-on (or not) these assumptions were.
